DIY Cinderella's Pumpkin Carriage

Today we will be making Cinderella's classic pumpkin carriage with a real pumpkin! This is a great decoration piece for Halloween or you can add it as a cute piece of decor to your room!

Materials:

  • a pumpkin (of course)
  • acrylic paint in the colors of: blue, turquoise, pink, red, gold, and white
  • paintbrushes in several different sizes
  • gold pipe cleaners
  • pencil (to draw on the details)
  • hot glue

Steps:

1. Paint the whole pumpkin with light blue(blue + white paint) paint. Let it dry completely.

2. Use a pencil to draw flower at the bottom of the pumpkin and paint it turquoise.  Let it dry.

3.  On one of the sides of the pumpkin, draw the carriage door, window, and curtains. Then fill in the outline of the door, gold, the curtains, dark pink (red+pink), and the background inside the window, light pink (white+pink).

4. Use the light blue paint from before to clean up any mistakes on the pumpkin.

5. Twist the gold pipe cleaners into a spiral to form a wheel. Make two wheels for the pumpkin.

6. Use hot glue to glue the wheels onto the pumpkin.
